How long does a septic tank last before it has to be replaced in florida? How much would it cost? How much would it cost to just clean out the septic tank? How much would it cost to replace well pump & how long do they usually last?
Thanks

If they have been taken care of -maybe the lifetime of the house. Don't have any idea how much a system would cost to replace-maybe in the $10,000 range? It cost us about $450 to have an inspection and pumping when we moved here 2 years ago. It cost us double because there are 2 septic tanks. They only have to be pumped every once in a while depending on how much use they get. At our other house built in 2006, we just had to buy a well pump which cost us less than $500 including the plumber if I remember correctly. Usually they last longer than that though. The water there is horrible and the salt and chlorine we have to add, is hard on things. We have already had to replace the water heater and parts of the air conditioner there, too.
