I need to know what are the CHEAPEST rental places in either of these two cities? It doesn't matter how bad the areas are, I just need to know what places are the cheapest for a studio or 1 bedroom in either of these two cities. (max rent of $800). I just need to know the cheapest, REGARDLESS of how bad the area is. (perferably a 1 bedroom, but a studio is fine also). I've been to paramount, compton, hawthorne, etc, so I doubt any places in Santa ana or Anaheim can compare - I'm just looking for the cheapest price because I make about $500 a week at my job, so I need a place I can afford, and I want to live somewhere in those two cities. I would love to live closer to my friend in Lake forest, but I know that's impossible due to the rent being too high there. So I'm sticking with the two cheapest cities I can think of in the OC.

Or, what free websites (newspaper, etc) would you recommended that I check out?

You might be able to find a decent loft in the Artist Village area of downtown Santa Ana. If not, there are countless blocks of apartments in downtown.. close to both the 5 and the 55 freeways. I'm not sure of rental prices in Anaheim, but steer clear of areas near Disneyland or places where demand is high. Other than that, I'm sure there are plenty of reasonable prices in this central portion of OC.
