First, I seriously doubt that anyone questioned the age difference between he and his latest pursuit .... if it's true that she is in her 50's and is as self-concerned about her looks as he indicates (fake boobs; looks like Pamela Anderson). That others were being judgemental due to an age difference was purely a figment of his self-absorbed imagination. Now, I could possibly grant that they may have looked askance due to his not being the type of man she usually is seen with ... IF she took him to a place that she regularly frequents.

Secondly, a player + a player = short term relationship. I think that she is fully aware that she will not keep him around long and when he comes to realize that she will not provide him what he is after (easy money) then he'll be gone.
