I am moving from Minn next summer. I lived in Tulsa years ago and ideally wanted to move near the Fayetteville area in Arkansas but housing and such seems to be much cheaper in Oklahoma. I want to be near my family in Arkansas but started looking back into the Oklahoma side. I have seen a few houses on the market in the Pryor area that I like and are in the range of what I want to spend.

However the concern is as when we lived in Tulsa, many people commuted over from the Muskogee area for work. My mom had several coworkers from Muskogee and Tahlequah who drove over for their jobs at the casino. What is the local job market like now? I work remotely but for others. Non degree but still professional jobs available for someone who has been managers of various retail and convenience store locations ect? Or would they need to be commuting to Tulsa for work?
