I bought a car, paid in cash, go to a bill of sale, well the entire time I've had it she wouldnt give the title up, well tags went out and she met me at the tag office where I had to pay her for insurance and a new tag, car still in her name.. well it got impounded and she took it upon herself to go get it out and told me when I pay her for getting it out she will give it back, I've tried numerous times to get my car back and she has blocked me on all numbers, ive left notes at her house saying I wo UK ld pay but she wont reply back to me and she still has the car. What do I do?

Call the police before they get defunded. You have done nothing illegal. Stupid but not illegal. Get them to arrest the defrauding crook. How much did you pay for the car? Do you have her legal name and address?

If you have her original signature on a bill of sale you may have options like taking her to small claims court or hiring an attorney. If not, then you may have just learned an expensive lesson. In either case, do not harass her. You may put yourself in even more jeopardy.
