I was born and grew up in the OKC/Shawnee area..since then I've lived in Southern California, Alaska, Minneapolis,Chicago and then Tulsa for 20 years...then lived on Grand Lake for 14 years and decided to move back to my roots..Shawnee/OKC..Big mistake..This part of the state seems ugly compared to Grand Lake and Tulsa area..I also miss the better roads and much prettier city in Tulsa. Because of the poor soil conditions (Red mud) , tiny trees and constant windy conditions..I think I'll sell and move back to Tulsa..Yes, they also have a Costco in Tulsa.

Tulsa and OKC are one in the same to me. I’ve traveled and stayed in both many many times.
