guess what everyone... i am moving back to youngstown! i am turning my frown upside down and tapping into the power of positive thinking. the problem is not that youngstown is bad, it is that i am not doing enough to change it. with the money i have saved up i am going to start an internet related business. keep your eyes open for a new blog- coming very soon!

Well good. I've decided that I can't stand the gray weather and negativity around here any more. I have decided that I'll move some place that is often considered Shagri-La, someplace in the sun belt, where it's always warm and sunny, and everything is shiny and new. LOL

I'm with you JR_C........i've decided Ohio sucks, especially NE Ohio. I can't find a job here (i mean, who can, right?) and my brother raves about how great coastal NC is. I'm sick of the gray rainy days, snow, the mosquitoes at our local lake. Those damn mosquitoes keep everyone away, i mean how can anyone enjoy a lake w/all those insects torpedoing you every five seconds.

Coastal North Carolina has everything i'm looking for, sun, beaches, lots of young marines, strip clubs, tattoo parlors, pawn shops, exciting weather events (i'm not scared of a little hurricane), it's a girls dream!!!! Paradise. I won't mind the 2-4 hour drive to see concerts and big events, we don't have those around here anyway. Plus, i don't fly, so who cares if the airport in Raleigh is a two hour drive from home? Not me! Oh yeah, and one last thing..........i hear the greek and italian food is outstanding on the coast, it will be just like home minus the slums and drugs we have here in Warren!

huh? i do not know what has gotten into you two. i thought we were all going to get together for drinks at the rosetta cafe after the city-data.com group hug at the flats in mill creek park. as close as anyone can get to shangri-la is right there in mahoning county. jr_c, negativity is only power which wants to be harness in a different direction. the sun is overrated, i need all 4 seasons to recharge inside older houses with character. cortland girl, youngstown-warren regional might not have marines, but we do have air force reservists. plus, if you want your blood to be sucked, you can get paid for your plasma at nabi, or that new place on rayen. plasma is clearly a growth industry and will help pay your bills while you are out of work.

defend youngstown!

(I know it's April 2nd now, but...) Maybe you can buy my house? I'm tired of paying ~$410/month for a 3br/1ba house built in 1915, with a 2 car garage, adjacant to the park. It is within walking distance to 3 bus routes, a grocery store, several eateries, Fellows Gardens, Lake Glacier, is just a 3 minute drive to the freeway, etc. I'm sure I could find a much nicer place to live for less money in some other city.

If I'm lucky enough to find a job in my career, maybe I could afford a 1980's vintage condo in a hi-rise complex?
