Doing a little odd research, and while I've found the wastewater treatment plant (county road 1250, near Main street), I really can't tell for sure where the effluent discharge empties into. The plant seems built in an odd place if the answer is the obvious one, the St Joe River, but might be situated where it is if the discharge is piped instead to one of the creeks that ultimately drain into the Tiffin River?

Just Curious.

Also, same question for Edgerton. I've found what appear to be settling ponds near the cross roads of US 6 and county road 5, but there does not appear to be any sign of the machinery you normally expect to see at a wastewater facility. Making me wonder if perhaps they just pipe it to some larger, nearby community having a plant with spare capacity?

Thanks in advance for any constructive help.

The plant you found on county road 12-50 is the water treatment plant. The wastewater treatment facility is along the St. Joe river behind Riverside Cemetery.
