I am moving to the city next month, currently live in Northern Ohio. I am scrambling to find a good place, safe area, with short commute.. Isn't everyone

My girlfriend and I are mid-20's but have a child on the way, due in October. Location is our most important factor in looking at housing. We need a safe area and I would like as short of a commute as possible.

Sinton Ave. seemed like it fit this criteria. From what I here the Eden Park area is nice. It's also 2 miles from where I'll be working and the rent is in line to our budget. It looks like this area is technically in the Walnut Hills neighborhood and some of the demographics make me a little uneasy. That's why I'm looking for input here.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!
