I'm moving to Ohio this summer and will be working in both the Kent area and in Cleveland. I'm trying to figure out if there are good places to live between the two or if I should just live in Cleveland and "deal" with the commute to Kent.
Based on the map and some board searches, I'm thinking maybe Hudson/Stow/Twinsburg? I'm looking for a place that's safe, has rentals that are not carpeted (call it a personal preference) and are within walking (better) or driving (ok) distance of the usual amenities, and will give me a decent commute in either direction.
I don't need crazy nightlife, but would like to be able to buy groceries, go out for coffee/a meal, do some basic shopping, be able to take a nice walk in the neighborhood/park, etc. Is that too much to ask?
Any advice you can share would be welcome!
