So many reasons to love Northeast Pennsylvania!
Mini Boulder Field, Hickory Run Forest ~ The result of a glacier resting there in the last ice age. (In the Jim Thorpe region)
The actual Boulder Field is in Hickory Run State Park & is much larger
Hickory Run Boulder Field Pennsylvania Geology
This field of boulders was a few lots away from one of our building sites. It's amazing that just a few lots away there are very few..but when a glacier stops, it stops!
