My life inside of a North Dakota man camp and surrounding areas. (Hunter: live, oil)

Looks very similar to what life is like in a college dorm. What do you have to pay per month to live there if you don't mind me asking?
Also, are jobs REALLY that plentiful?
Are people worried about the falling price of crude recently?
Sorry for all the questions, I'm just curious. If I was 15 years younger I think it would be interesting to do some work up there for a short time...live cheaply & bank as much $ as possible.
No out of pocket expense for anything that I posted above. The company that I work for pays for everything.
Jobs are plentiful in most areas of the Bakken.
Companies are too far invested(billions) to be worried about the recent decline. In my opinion, a price drop only adds to the worlds dependency on oil. If the price of fuel stays low enough for a while, short term memory kicks in, SUVs are purchased. Then the fuel price increases. Now everyone is stuck with a gas guzzler.
Ah, the memories. Back around January-April of 2012, some of those places in the pics were under construction, or had just recently been built. Recall several times having a yard call around 0200, then convoying with the other trucks in our frac crew through the ND badlands to a well site(sometimes 3-4 hours away). Didn't matter if the roads were ice and snow covered, or -30F. We still went.
Hey, I just got to North Dakota a few days ago and am staying with someone in Tioga. I got offered a job in warehouse at 20 an hour which I think I'm gonna take to hold me over until I can find an oil-company to get in with. Who are you working for, anyway you can help me out?
Also, Savage Services called me back today, but i missed their call. I applied for a water-transfer/heater specialist position...do you know anything about them, how they pay/if they provide housing, etc?

I am a contractor for Halliburton. If I were you I would call Savage back ASAP. A couple of guys in my camp work for them and they are averaging 100+ hours a week. Between $18-25 an hour. Don't know if they are a good/bad company to work for but they would be a great foot in the door. Possibly even long term.
Awesome. Yeah, I just had a phone interview with the guy. We set up a face-to-face interview for next week. He said I'd be averaging 14 hour days, 20 days on 10 days off. I'm really hoping I get it.

Good luck.
