Everyone should send this story to Druge Report ( lower right had side of website) and ask "Is Obama getting ready to lay off 100,000 people and kill the one growing sector of our economy?
If Drudge gets enough people reporting they will post it as a headline.
The Bakken may have just been a laboratory to perfect the technology. -Time to take it global where help is cheap.
I'm not aware of oil help being all that cheap, relatively speaking, anywhere in the world, but everywhere, including other places in the US, seem to be cheaper than North Dakota.
Still its hard to imagine oil companies voluntarily leaving the enormous Bakken profits on the table. What is funny, so to speak, about all this, is that it has always been a gamble for oil companies working in foreign countries because of political issues. Gov'ts like Russia in the past have on a whim changed the terms of a contract between private parties when it suits them and their interests. Oil companies have finally learned how to work around that by several very keen strategies which don't invite such capricious activity because it is not in the best interests of the particular gov'ts to do so given their current business model.
Now it seems the US gov't isn't really much different though they would scream to the housetops that it ain't so.
Yeah. Right.
One thing my travels have taught me is while Americans might be fooled by all the rhetoric, the rest of the world is not.
I'm hoping that Obama tells the EPA to back off and leave North Dakota alone. With national elections coming next year, putting thousands of people out of work would not go over too well.
the chairman maobama & his minions doesnt like carbon based fuels so if they shut down all oil production in the us the price will go up & he thinks that his backers like al gore aamong others can make billions on the hitech medieviel windmill
