Between having a stable/steadily growing population, having a growing manufacturing sector, investment in its Downtown, its proximity to a major city in Montreal/to Burlington VT/the Adirondacks/Lake Champlain, having its own city beach, an "International" airport, the newest housing stock in the state in terms of a metro/micro area and other aspects while still having a relatively/average overall cost of living, would you consider Plattsburgh(including the area/Clinton County) to be the best kept secret in the state?

I am from the Syracuse region originally and have lived all over the country--currently in Erie, PA region.

I have visited the Plattsburgh area and love it up there.

I am interviewing with a company up there so keeping my fingers crossed

Another aspect in terms of utilities is that Plattsburgh is New York Power Authority customer. Meaning, the city has lower rates in terms of utilities. Municipal Lighting Department | Plattsburgh, NY
