For a 24 hour donut place, look to no other than Donut Pub on 14th & 7th Ave in Manhattan. It's an older, mom-and-pop place, but a fresh donut at 4am after ice skating at Chelsea Piers or a night of club hopping might not taste any better.

i have a problem eating at a place that sounds like a wash basin in a brothel

I'm unfamiliar with the accoutrements available in brothels - having no desire to ever visit one. Do they also carry donuts there?

Darned! He's probably watching soccer again! I tell you, Sahona, don't know how you put up with such neglect! No wonder you're in search of other delights - like a nice, tasty donut. If he's still glued to the PC and never gets off, I'll be happy to show you some nice donut shops on the UWS!!!!

Ha, yes, I have to search for my pleasures elsewhere!!! LOL

I would love to introduce you to my single friends; they are after an articulate, attentive guy; unfortunately, they all live in London but I'm sure if you go over there, they would be happy to show you the sweet delights that London has to offer
