Majority of NYC's tech workers are working remotely. The company maybe located in NYC but majority of the workers are scatters all around the country. I work for big tech company and barely anyone ever comes into the office.
Even before the pandemic, rise in WFH, and the AI boom, we were a big tech center, largely from Wall Street and other financial players. People sometimes forget that the city already had a huge tech sector with a global reach.
