Mayor Adams just can't get a break. But he deserves it, when you play the sanctuary city host mayor and tell migrants to come with free gift cards and free school and lunches. You better not turn people away. And then face the wrath and backlash from the unintended consequences of giving away taxpayer resources without approvals and facing a huge budget deficit.

Now he wants a reprieve from the state to cut down on sanctuary city right to housing. He's finding out the hard way that being a mayor of a liberal city is like being that slice of salami squeezed by the pickle and the bread.

Probably with US taxpayer money. The USG gives a lot of money to the "charities".
