How do places get away with this?

One day it's all smiles with teacher and staff all friendly like; then *wham* next day you're getting a text or email saying place is shut. This of course after you've paid for your kid's tuition and fees.

Wow that place has been around awhile. But that shopping center has been slowly emptying for a few years now. For years their hub was my go-to supermarket. The plaza owner is definitely looking to clear it out to build houses.

Yes, that is what daycare owners are giving out; that they lost their lease or something. Fine but why wait until that happens to tell parents what's going on in background?

This place took people's money with smiling faces knowing (or should have known) their days at said location were numbered. That ain't right.
