Just went by Riese Restaurant-Owned Roy Rogers on the corner of 7th ave and 33rd ... CLOSED!

Along with Lindy's next door (famous cheesecake) also owned by Riese Restaurants.


Sad day... It was the last Roy Rogers in NYC.

tho some of their food wasn't healthy (fried chicken) even the unhealthy stuff was better than average. miss the double R bar burger with ham on top and the roast beef sandwiches. kind of like Arbys which used to be in the same spot more or less. I wonder is Arbys still around...

The one in Penn Station closed several years ago (2011?) That was the 2nd to last Roy's in NYC. =(
