I prefer simpler pizza. I find that over the years NyC pizzerias became enamored with the big doughy slices and goofy toppings and I hate those. I like a nice thin crust with a nice tangy sauce and a tasty cheese. To me the $1.00 slice is one of the best things that happened for consumers and for NYC pizza!!!
Word! Under no circumstances do I begrudge $1.00 pizzas, it just makes no sense for a pizza lover like me. Remember the pizza I got on Nostrand by Lefferts Ave., it was cheap and I murdered it like nobody's business. There's real great cheap quality pizza out there; "save your bucks and savor the taste" should be NYC's motto when it comes to pizza.

I said pretty much the same thing twice in the thread. So I was the original person to introduce this particular vantage point. Therefore your reply should have been addressed to me, and you should have recognized the other guy as being derivative.
dont want to gross you guys out but everytime i eat cheap pizza i get soft feces or diarhea
its cheap for a reason, the ingredients are really bad, especially the wheat flour.
it just runs through your system without much digestion (lack of nutrients, slow digesting carbs, etc).
its a good not to feel hungry though.............for 15 minutes
and we wonder why the average fat american has diabetes

I have had plenty of .99/1.00 slices, and not a single one that was halfway palatable. I wanted my dollar back. Why do I buy them every now and again? Well, it's only a dollar . Of course I've had crappy 4.00 slices too...but I can look at a slice and tell you the quality now.
Ive had some great pizza and terrible just like life its a gamble but will continue frequenting 2 bros
