Yea it's killin me, I didn't like my current job to begin with but after fbf I'm sitting here today despising it even more! , I'd need 5 to 1 lol hoping for 2013 hiring classes ! Good luck to you, you have a chance, a lot of the back logged list numbers made it into the 1st two classes so list should start going 3 to 1

If its like 1966 last to be hired.. and its 3 to 1 I still wont make it into the next class Id be on the fence but either way I'm keeping fingers crossed. I'm kinda starting to dislike my job and believe me my job is sweet! im in 1199 (union benefits). so I'm hoping to be able to keep my job and work both.. but man I dunno when I'm otj even if it works out with the hours I dunno I feel like I'll just make excuses not to stay.. ishhh I feel like that now and I'm not on the job yet lol! I dunno how people work more than one job when they are working bootleg jobs! I sure give it up to them!

It's a good job just be prepared to be broke and have no life from bouncing around from nights to days. if your close to the bottom in the garage you go too. Seniority will get you stability until then you will start to hate it.

Here are somethings I believe have changed,
No 3/4 pay if hurt on the job, OT is capped for pension( I think it's 15,000 a year so if you make 100k a year and your base salary is 70, only 85000 counts when you get your pension. Also once you start collecting S.S. they take half of what you make in S.S. out of or pension check. If I remember correctly one of the ladies at hr said they are trying to change that.
I guess there are some other thing, buts thats what I really know.

Just wanted to put it out there, I'm going to FBF tomorrow to start the CDL Training. Once I pass, how likely am I to get into one of these classes?

your compensation will be between $350-$400 a week depending on your tax withholdings.

Back when you mailed the initial application the pay scale was written on there.

After 4-5 years that amount triples. Snow will give you couple thousand dollar checks once the smoke and tax clears.
