Virginia Tech has built a demographics map based on the accuracy of Census reporting.
It is called the Racial Dot Map. Look it up .It is an amazing work.
Implementing a map along the lines of crime data would be good news for anybody.
Hope this helps if this work is still in progress.
that map do not match the NYPD crime map that puts mid town and lower manahttan as the most dangerous.
