These people built the town, built the boardwalk, and have been holding Church Service on their boardwalk since before shots rang out at the Civil War.
You exaggerate and tend to move the goal posts of discussions when you are losing them. Nothing in this discussion has anything remotely close to going through anyone's homes.

Its the same concept. If they built houses instead of a boardwalk, nobody would have access.

No it's not, not even close! "If" is a word use by people with no argument. They did build a Boardwalk and it's always been there, always.

On private land, with private money. Look up the 5th amendment, unless eminent domain happens they could do what they want. We should give them a thanks, that they built a boardwalk for us and let us use it.

You're ignorant of the subject. With all due respect.

Not exactly the same, but there is a stretch of the south branch of the raritan that strictly prohibits navigation, despite the law that allows passage by watercraft. In Nj property owners with waterfront on navigable streams/rivers own the ground under the water to the midstream line. Set one foot on the ground and you are trespassing. stay in your boat and no problem.

Pointing out there are odd exceptions to general law when it comes to trespass and water frontage. Question is how can that be? Who has the power to twist the law in their favor and have it go unchallenged.

The wonderful NJ shore has been claimed by property owners as private. Open beach towns keep rif raff away by making it impossible to afford a parking place, if you can find one.

Shoreline over developed and an environmental disaster.

Neither of you seem well versed on what is happening and why it is happening now.
