After previously stating on record that NJ would become a "sanctuary state for immigrants on his watch", Murphy is now backsliding, *hard*.

Biden is considering sending migrants to Atlantic City International Airport property, Murphy is now saying NJ "cannot afford" to take migrants....

So ? I find it strange that people jump on politicians who change their stance or opinions when facts or realities change with additional information.

Good pivot on Murphy's part.

Funny how these people all want to bring in as many poor illegals as possible, but then nobody wants to actually take them in their home state.

It was all fine when Texas and Arizona had to deal with it, but now that they are sending some of the burden to NY and NJ, the leaders of these two states are "unable to help".

Personally, I used to be against taking in all these illegals, but lately, the current illegals have been charging a lot more than they used to for the jobs they do, so I guess the competition will be good for prices.

I agree.

Clearly a bad situation in NY, no reason to invite the problem to NJ.

Come on Murf, we can handle a few million migrants. NYC is having a swell time with people fighting in the streets, Mayor and Governor feuding over them. Both fighting with Biden over them. 20 thousand kids going to public school, many with no vaccines. Harris is doing a great job with her assignment as Border czar. Fantastic, well thought out plan.

Not me.
Round them up and get them out.
I’ve watched them make off with at least 5 bicycles on the boardwalk this year.

Because unlike the dems in NY, NJ dems actually face stiff competition and a real chance of losing elections.

NY is gone. We need to do everything we can to ensure NJ isn’t next.

Two reasons:

They want BIG federal dollars or law changes letting them "work" a k a be legal.

They got bad polling data.

The Democrats have a remarkable trick that doesn't work for Republicans.

They can SAY ANYTHING before an election and nobody holds them accountable or even reminds anybody because "win at any cost".

But Republicans get accused of EVERYTHING before during and after elections that they never did or said AND the media LOVES repeating the lie.

Apathetic brainwashed public. More important to be "popular" than ethical or even correct.

The ONLY time I ever saw the NYT really correct a lie was when Biden claimed Trump held the Bible upside down.

THAT was already long-debunked by them and debunkers and yet Biden STILL repeated it. Because he COULD.

AS IF it was even an IMPORTANT THING!
