I can answer that since I live in Bridgewater and my mailing address is Bound Brook. Since this section of Bridgewater,the Thomae Park section,is closer to the Bound Brook post office by alot they have used the Bound Brook post office for our mail. Accoding to the mayor ,the last one not our current one he sent out a mailing to our area asking if anyone in this area would like to change our addresses to Bridgewater. Everyone I talked to around heresaid yes !! Nothing happened and when asked the mayor said that not enough people answer the mailing. Which I do not believe. Buts thats our story ! Bound Brook does not have a great rep, and HIGH taxes while Bridgewater has great schools, about have of the property taxes as Bound Brook. So no one who lives here wants to say their address is Bounnd Brook !
