Been thinking of trying Tasty Moment as it seems very popular. Last time we were there, it was a 1 hour wait for a table so we went somewhere else.
Worth the wait imo. There's another place in the area called Wu's Shanghai Dumpling, but I tried it once and felt it was slightly overrated (especially having tried those very same kind of dumplings in Shanghai itself).

They used to be pretty good but something seems to have changed in the last 3-4 months and the food quality went down significantly. We went there last weekend and the food was mediocre compared to when we were last there 6 months ago.

I heard one of their owners opened a separate xiaolongbao restaurant near Kam Man Food, and also near Penang, which itself is a restaurant that used to be wonderful but has declined dramatically in quality again.
Hunan Manor in Montclair has a nice dining room and terrace, and the food is good, for NJ. That said, I have never been able to find outstanding, authentic Chinatown-style Chinese food in NJ.
I still have to trek to NYC once a year for truly excellent Chinese food.
We tried Tasty Moment but found the food a little too greasy. Maybe we just ordered the wrong stuff.
We also went today to the newly opened Dunhuang next to Tasty Moment. Food was great. Highly recommend their signature Lanzhou Beef Noodle soup.
