Engagement ring jeweler for ring setting (to buy, prices, deal)

I'm planning to buy a loose diamond online through a certified diamond seller because its much cheaper then the big box places

I'm looking for a jeweler in the north NJ area that can put this diamond in a nice looking setting for a reasonable price.

Can anyone recommend such a spot?

I thought places like zales and such would be huge ripoffs is this true?

I can't speak to their prices, but Aires Jewelers on Rt. 10 in Denville does beautiful work and they're a pleasure to deal with.
