OK- so my daughter's birthday isn't until the Fall. But, I am 1 of those moms who has to start getting things in order months in advance.
I'm looking for a fun place to have her 7th birthday party (which will include some little boys). We've done the bowling party & no more ChuckECheese (I'd rather stick hot pokers in my eyes than deal with that place- LOL).
I was looking into a few ice-cream places, but even those are not cheap (1 place wanted what came out to $29 a kid for 10 kids- more than that was $15 a kid extra). We are far from being financially rich, so I'm looking for something a little cheaper.
We're in Middlesex County, NJ- so, I'm looking for somewhere in that area (I will travel out to Union County, but that's because it's literally 5 minutes over the border).
Anyone have any ideas or know of any places?
Thanks!
We've been to a few parties in Union County and the kids seemed to enjoy them. One was at Monster Mini Golf on Route 22 in Union. It was a 6th birthday, most of the kids were ages 5-8 and that seemed like a good age for it. Another was at Pump it Up in Roselle Park, a bit more chaotic but the kids enjoyed it.
Have you looked into Little Scoops in Cranford? My niece has been to a bunch of b-day parties there and the kids love it (they live in Cranford). Not sure the cost, but might be worth looking into if you haven't already:
My daughter did Build-a-bear when she was 4 and chose it again for her 7th birthday. The boys and girls like it. Since the one by me doesn't have a place to have a cake I packed up cupcakes for everyone to take home.
Definitely, but even though that recent interloper identifies his company as being located on the Indian Subcontinent, we all know that it could have been... anybody... who posted that attempt at advertising.
Maybe it was actually "a 400 lb guy sitting on his bed".
Why do we always have to blame the Indians when it could have been... anybody?
Just a note for those who are confused by posts 5, 6, 7, and 8: Jay and I were reacting to an obvious spam post from someone in India. Subsequent to our snarky posts, the spam from India was finally removed.
