No, grizzly bear! Just kidding. That's a groundhog. We have one living in the yard next to us. Hopefully you're not a gardener because they will eat most plants. They destroyed my wife's garden last summer.

It's a rare pygmy northeastern wookie. Be CAREFUL, they are known alcoholics and will go at great lengths to get a taste of the sauce. I saw one shake down an elderly woman for a nip of peppermint schnaps.

We've got one in our yard; actually I think it lives under the patio. No way can it eat most plants; the rabbits get them first :-)

Yup!
It is indeed a Groundhog, also known as a Woodchuck.

They will eat your tomatoes and other crops, so despite how cute they look, they can also wind up wasting the time and money that you spent on planting your garden. Also--if you have a dog and the dog encounters one of these animals, the dog may wind up with a painful bite on his/her nose. So--try to keep your dog and your resident Groundhog separated if possible.

That is a Phalanx Thump-Thump. Derived from the sound they make when you run them over on Phalanx Road.

Groundhogs usually keep to themself and run off if u approach one, but if u come near their home they can growl and try to defend it so don't mess with them. U can talk to them to help be familiar with eachother. I think Raccoons they like to eat at night, not sure about groundhogs.
