So over the past week i visited Harrison,NJ twice......took alot of pictures....etc... The Town itself is small , only a few SQ miles. 1 SQ mile is composed of abandoned buildings being converted to into Condos , Retail and Office space by 2020 , phase 1 is underway..... The Town is the Railway JCT of the state , one going East - West , the other goes South - North and accounts for about 9 out 13 NJT lines , along with Freight and PATH trains. Even with all the Railways , Harrison only has 1 station , it used to have 3 but those were all closed to speed up the other lines and due to low ridership. Although one will come back later this decade on the Morristown line. Harrison has a relativy low crime rate even with neighboring Newark. 2 Highways Serve the tiny town I-280 and I-95......although the interchange for that is abit confusing. The New Red Bulls Arena recently opened up.....although i i didn't take any good shots of that.
We start with Twilight in Harrison and Newark then well go to Harrison in the daytime and end with Jersey City in the Dark...
I-280 through form the Train in Harrison
Well Start off with the pictures form Sunday the 28th of November...
PATH Madness Time , i filmed all over the PATH system on Friday ....although most shots didn't come out right....due to PATH police eying me or my flip camera malfunctioning....but i always got the Train Departing......I did did change trains alot due to the fact i was debating on where to eat my lunch....and if your wondering i did take some lines 2x.
