adult disability programs in Lincoln Ne. (apartment, living, moving to)

I am thinking of moving to Lincoln Ne. and I have a disabled son who is 44 years old. He will need spports such as in his living away from home, assistance in his apartment - jobs - programs etc.

I have done my homework but lots of things are on paper and they look good. But also more often than not the resorces are on paper and programs say that they have that service but until you actually get to the point of funding a program you do not really know if that service was cut out last year or that the funding was cut . and so on, But to get to that point you actually have to live there and start the work.

So I got to thinking - why not ask people there in the city if they have used the system and what their throughs and experiences were. If any one of you could shed some light of this I would very much appriciate any and all information about the social system involving the disabilities I would really appricate it.
