Hello. Hoping someone can give me insight into the neighborhood Southern Woods in Brentwood. Do you think it is a safe area? I know it’s in Brentwood, Williamson county with Brentwood schools but it also really close to “Brentioch” area off Edmondson so was hoping to hear from those that live in that area or close to it. Thanks in advance. Thinking of buying in that area but want to understand the dynamics first.

The only drawback may be the sighting of 2 young bears wandering thru the area. Happened last spring. If you have any animals may be best to keep them inside overnite.

The area along Nolensville & north of Concord road is very safe. Access to I-65 brings you to downtown Nashville. Up & down Nolensville should take you to all the everyday shopping you will need. Not far from Cool Springs for other shopping.

Long term concern is the lack of any mass transit. You will have to investigate how far south WeGo bus goes. So you will have to deal with traffic issues on Nolensville or Concord depending on your commute times. If you drive with care should be fine. Be patient with traffic jams & congestion. As you go south from Harding Nolensville becomes a slow 2 lane rural road. May take years for TDOT to widen & improve it.
