along with what purgess said... 76th ave north is a nice area. i lived really close to there and this whole northern area i would say is nice. i walked down to the beach all the time when i lived here only a few blocks away. but i would never suggest moving to a place you haven't seen... but hopefully more people can give you some answers. even in the nicest of areas, bad things can happen, so keep that in mind, you always need to be aware of your surroundings. but i think overall it is a nice place!
