My wife and I would like to attend a golf school in Myrtle Beach.
Does anyone have experience with any of the schools?

Hi there... we are from Long Beach, too! Moved here almost 4 years ago.

I don't have first hand knowledge but I do know a few people who have recommended the school at Pawleys Plantation. Also the one at True Blue & Caledonia Golf (absolutely gorgeous courses)

Thanks for the info.
By the way, how's life in Myrtle Beach?
Have you had any problems adapting?
We're looking from Myrtle to Southport.
Might be a couple of years away. Our friends just bought a house south of the airport. We hope to stay there and see the area.

Thanks,
Gene

Not in MB, but if you are ever in the Upstate (home to several current and former golf professionals), you may want to check out the International Institute of Golf at The Cliffs.

Canals, Pawleys fits us well. It has that beachy, small town feel that I imagine Long Beach had many moons ago. It is far enough from Myrtle Beach to avoid the crowds & close enough to have some entertainment. We hit Charleston every couple of months, too.

I do not miss the taxes, traffic or snow/ice. I do miss a good Irish Pub, diners & some other foods. My wife & I have found employment that sustains us, but there are not too many people getting rich here at the moment.

If there is anything we can help you with just holler!

We'd recommend the Glen Davis Golf school in MB. The facilities are not first class but the instruction is! Glen's insights and coaching tips provided significant game improvement results for my wife, teenage son and myself! Plus it was easy to practice/remember the key points as they are provided in an uncomplicated way, which IMO, only helps to take that improvemnt to the course! Good luck with whatever you choose!

I recomend the golf school @ legends golf course. Very reasonable. I attended a 3 day school and was impressed with the teachers and the teaching facilities. If you are also looking for accomadations I rent my time share resort. If you or someone you know are interested please email me. ray9462@aol.com. Thanks
