Hi, we are very new to the area and I am trying to find a good program for my 2 year old. I am having a very hard time locating any programs and all that I am finding are all day programs. Does anyone know any programs that run from 9-12 or 9-1? I am in a carolina forest area but willing to drive for the right school.

Thanks in advance!

We also moved to the area recently and had a tough time finding a school that would take our 2 year old son. We are out in Pawleys Island, is that too far?? We finally found the Pawleys Island Presbyterian Preschool that we are really happy with. My 2 year old son and 3 year old daughter are both going 9-12 and seem to really enjoy it.

As noted by "hels", check local churches. Many of them will have preschools, some full day and some half day.

As we are on the subject I am looking for some activities to get my kids involved in in the afternoons. Would anybody have information on playgroups, dance classes, sport lessons etc that take place in the area?

We also just moved to Carolina Forest and I have a one year old. Trying to find a Mom's Morning Out program at a church. Should I just start calling some near by churches or does anyone know of any programs.

Everyone I've spoken too has recommended Beline (pronounced Blaine) in Murrells Inlet. We visited and were very impressed. Unfortunately, they seem to have a pretty lengthy wait list.

Just want to give a shout out for TLC Preschool and Primary in North Myrtle Beach, SC! I have worked there as a Preschool teacher and music teacher since 2000. Both of my children attended as well. 2yr old through 2nd grade program. Preschool hours are 9-12, Kindergarten is 8-12:15 and 1st-2nd grade is 8:30-2:30. Come check us out if you live on the north end.

Default Mommy's Morning Out Myrtle Beach

I know this is an old thread but check out http://mommysmorningoutmyrtlebeach.yolasite.com. Or mommysmorningoutmb@hotmail.com.

It's a nice option because you can drop off your child and come back in a few hours! The person who runs it is qualified and the neighborhood is safe
