hi everyone.myself and my family are moving to conway from ireland.my husband is a tow truck driver and wanted to start up his own buisness.does anyone have any information on starting ur own buisness in myrtle beach and whether their is alot of towing business already there. any advice would be brillant.thanks in advance,sandra

also just a pointer that may help. I know this from experience.
Get in touch with condo associations, apartment complexes and the like to get on their lists of tow companies they call when they find illegal parking.
Having a couple every good friends in the towing business.. there are several in town already and as someone else noted, the competition is fierce. I would advise that your husband get on with one of the bigger companies until he sees how the business is in the area then go from there.
The idea of getting in with HOA's, hotels, restaurants, etc and taking care of their illegally parked vehicles is also a great idea, but one that requires certain signage regulations, etc...
