Default I can recommend 2 to avoid like the plague.

Stay away from Expo Van Lines headquartered in FL & Stop and Move LLC from Tenafly NJ.

Expo Van Lines is really a broker, not an actual moving company. They talk a good game & are great at customer service before the move. After the move they did not return a call, but replied to my email inquiry with the insurance claim information. Once I've been paid by their insurance I'll post more.

Stop and Move LLC is the actual company that arrived on moving day. The foreman first explained that Expo Van Lines is not a moving company but a broker. Secondly after viewing my belongings, he informed me that it looks like Expo did a bad job of estimating. I should have sent them packing {pun intended}. The move doubled from the estimate, because I was too busy still preparing. Shame on me.

My advice is to use a reputable company like Mayflower or United Van Lines, even Two Guys & a Truck.

Good luck & be well.
