If you're working with a realtor, they should be able to get that info for you. If you are just browsing, it will be tougher. Some HOA communities have websites that include their bylaws, but those tend to be the exception. If you find a neighborhood you like, you will probably need to ask someone you see outside. If they don't know the answer, they should be able to help you contact an HOA board member. Good luck.
