I'll be relocating to Surfside in August and need a cart. All I know is turn the key, hit the gas and go. I know nothing about pro's and con's of any of the big three bands.
I'm not a golfer so it'll be used as a grocery getter, beach transportation, and just buzzing around town. I'm looking for a lifted cart, too.
What's the good, the bad, and the ugly about the big three? High level, most common is all I'm looking for.
I've been here a year now. I plan to get my cart next summer so I've been watching and checking out all those around me.
I haven't decided on which brand yet but I have decided on the following:
Definitely getting mirrors because....drivers are dangerous
Definitely getting turn signals because...drivers don't recognize hand signals
Going to get battery vs gas...don't want to be hauling/storing gasoline anymore (lawnmower days)
Going to get a hitch put on so I can get attachments
Going to get a lifted cart for the added ground clearance
I'm leaning towards ez go since I see so many around me (North Myrtle Beach)
I plan to use mine for going to the beach and the back road to the grocery store primarily.
I know this doesn't help with your question about brands but I thought I'd just throw out some things I've noticed as I check out all these golf carts around me.
