Could someone give me a ballpark price to build a 3,000- sq ft home in North Myrtle Beach? I've heard about $140/sq ft. but wanted to get some more info. May be looking to buy some property in Tidewater Plantation.

Thanks

$150-$200 sq ft based on the quality of the finishes selected.

I’m a custom home builder and have 5 homes in various stages of construction now. You are looking at anywhere from 105/SF to 175/SF depending on your interior and exterior finishes.

Thanks. What would expect to pay an architect to design the home? … and if we wanted to add a lanai with a small to medium sized pool for the backyard?

We are currently building in Myrtle Beach, private lot (not a planned community), 2500 sq feet with lanai and medium pool and all said and done we are in the mid - high 600k range. That’s with upgrades ( cabinets, tile, electric, lighting, landscaping, etc.). Could probably be done without a lot of upgrades in or around 600k.

This is exactly what I was looking for, thanks! We're leaning towards building in a planned community since the supply for existing homes in these types of communities is pretty low....
Not sure why but I'm guessing the pandemic has something to do with it- we were lucky to have sold and closed on our home and now living in a furnished condo until we can come up for air...

Thanks again

-Steve
