I saw several reports of how people in golf carts and on foot completely blocked off one of the main roads in town several days ago without any legal reason. How many of these folks were arrested as they should have been?
Did i see you going a few miles over the speed limit the other day? Did you not use your turn signal? If you weren’t ticketed then the police were slacking. Or perhaps they were busy on more immediate dangers. I agree we need more policing but that means you must be willing to hire more officers and pay higher taxes. As it is they are having to pick which infringements are most immediately dangerous.

It was Sunday and it was on Ocean Blvd. It was locals and a few hours later several people got hurt with gunshot wounds. 4 people were arrested. Turns out it was gang rivalry related.
The police didn't show up until the guns started going off.
The consequences of doing anything about anybody for police is at least a write up and possibly termination, law suit and even jail
Right about now a donut shop looks pretty good
The police weren’t evasive and reluctant to do their job
you made them that way
Well both bike weeks were cancelled but people on their bikes showed up anyway. Not huge crowds though but still.... No masks and no social distancing.
It's going to be an interesting Memorial Day weekend here. I plan to stay home and totally avoid the crowds.
I may go for a walk on the beach early, early in the morning (7am).
