Two of my screen doors need repairs done to the screening. Can someone recommend a local handyman you like who will do the repairs on site (my MI townhouse)?

I don't have anyone that I can recommend but if you're handy, re-screening is not hard at all. Watch a youtube video, pick up an inexpensive tool and it's pretty simple. I just finished re-screening an entire porch and all the training I had came from youtube...LOL.

Actually I did pick up the tools a while back but have been too chicken to try. I guess I should at least try to do it myself. Worse case I'll screw up and look for someone to fix it anyway........

Good luck. They key is to keep the top and sides even. Then do the bottom last pulling the screen tight.

Give it a shot. I redid all of my sons screens (in Ohio) and it went well....not as difficult as it would seem. I also made sure I overlapped the screening over the spline channel and then trimmed the excess.

Replacing a screen is super easy.....give it a try! Might take a couple hours.....but it's NOT hard! If it's a door, and you can lay it on the floor...that's best! If it's upright on a "screened porch"...might take longer. This isn't rocket science!

You’re welcome. He fixed an issue we were having with our screened in porch door & showed up when he said he would & price was very reasonable.
