Hello Everyone,
We are looking to make the move this year from northern NJ to either Pawleys area or Murrells Inlet. We like to be outdoors, in/on the water and ride our motorcycle. We are retired, but our kids are kind of young - 19, 22, 26. The 26 year old will be coming with us and would like to eventually get settled in the Charleston area. The 19 and 22 year olds are in college and military. I am trying to determine if one of these areas are better than the other as far as activities for them. We don't want cookie cutter and prefer either low country style or raised beach houses, looking to spend between 350K and 450k, preferably lower (4 bedrooms). I would love to hear your opinions. Thank you.
We live in Murrells Inlet, but my son goes to school in Pawley’s. It’s not far. I’d find a neighborhood you love and go with that. We would have bought in Pawleys but found Woodlawn Plantation and I fell in love with it and bought a lot there. Find a neighborhood you love, and I’d go with that.

A local realtor can probably help you more than anyone here. Message me if you want a suggestion for a good one with an office in Lynchfield (between MI and Pawley's).
