Is it still possible to purchase a nice home for $250,000 and under in MB? I’m talking a new home. can anyone direct me to any new communities with homes in that price range that are kid friendly (good schools). This is just the beginning of a search for a place to relocate and I thought this would be a good place to start. Thanks all!

Yes, there are many. Here's a search I just did for new home max price 250k. Most of the sizes would be under 2000 heated square feet. You could probably expand the search to 260-270k price, knowing that you could bargain the price down a bit.
