Crab Catchers is a favourite, dining on the deck overlooking the intercoastal.

If you want to go just a little further north, the Waterfront Seafood Shack on the Calabash waterfront is tremendous. Everything there is literally right off the boat. They have no indoor seating so it is a nice day-only option. Save room for their legendary pound cake for dessert.

We've lived in Little River for 4 years. These are our go to places when I don't feel like cooking.

Mexican - Casa Villa

Italian/pizza - Pizzelis

Breakfast/lunch - Sunny Side Up

All reasonably priced, all on Rte. 17

Prime rib/flounder - Boundary House up the road in Calabash.

Chinese - Calabash Gourmet

You do realize that restaurants in a tourism driven town have to cater to tourists to survive?

I love when tourists don't want touristy things.

Go see my friend Scott Childers at The Shack in Little River.

The Tidewater Grill is right on the edge of Little River in NMB near the swing bring. I highly recommend it.

We love the Shack! We need to go back there. We haven't been back up there since we bought our house off of 501 near the Conway hospital.

Another vote for the Shack! We visit relatives in the area every October and have eaten there many times.
