I just saw on the weather report that it is 90's at Myrtle Beach area today. So is it miserably hot?? Too hot to be outside? Seems it would be. I'm just trying to get an idea!
Lots of flying bugs?
I've got bug bites all over me this month, here in Idaho!! We can't go outside because we have all the smoke from the fires.
Thanks!

Yes, it's hot today. But there's a nice breeze from the ocean and if you are sitting on the screened porch reading it's quite comfortable.

I would recommend doing yard work and things like that in the morning. Been getting a lot of bug bites. I don't wear bug spray though.

You certainly wouldn't want to be doing work in the sun, but taking it easy in the shade....it's pretty nice with the breeze. Of course, if you're from Idaho, I'm sure you'd find the humidity unbearable. My brother is from Montana and he thinks it's humid here even in December !!!!

Thank you all.☺ I think it may be worth dealing with the humidity to live there! It seems wonderful! I think I'll visit next August. I don't like Idaho at all.
Do you need to live right by the ocean to get the breeze? Would you get it in Little River?

On the 17th we went boating for 2 hours on the waterway, wasn't too hot at all and then at 4 we walked on the boardwalk on the ocean, wasn't too bad.

We were down there for 2 weeks in July-Aug. and never during that time would I call it 'miserable' or even close. I draw mosquitoes like crazy and didn't notice any at all while there. The breeze really kind of controls the ambiance and keeps the bugs down in our experience.
It's humid, but nice anyway. We were down there at the most humid time of year and were fine with it.
Don't know how it will affect others though.

Regards,
Len

Default Hey 370z

We arrived on the 17th , got home about 2 hours . The temperature 85-93 degrees all week , it was wonderful . We were in Fat Harold's on Wednesday night , it poured buckets for about 10 minutes . . People outside were soaked . An hour later , everything was dry . We love the heat !!

BTW , we stayed at The Avista Resort , the best place in NMB ! Everything is within walking distance .
