I am originally from NJ also. If someone has an experienced, honest realtor, please DM me as I am looking to relocate to the area.

Thanks!

Many things to do especially once we get back to normal.

As for hurricanes; I've been through four typhoons and five hurricanes. You just have to make sure your house is built for it. Just make sure you are not in a flood zone.

BTW: We live in a 55+ community.

I will never complain about the traffic here. You want to see traffic!? Come to the DC metro area. I'll show you traffic. We still go back up that way to visit immediately family and sometimes to upstate NY to visit Mom.
Currently south of D.C. and am often curious when I read about people mentioning traffic complaints in areas we're loosely researching for a possible future move. Glad to see we're still in one of the worst areas in that regard. Thank you! If we do move I definitely want to think less about traffic. It rules my decisions of when to run errands etc.

The traffic "problem" here is minimal, IMO. During the Summer when the tourists are here obviously we have more people/cars, creating increased traffic. We've been down here for 3 years and have no issues with the traffic because we knew coming in that there would be more issues in the Summer.
If you are diligent about where you want to live and where you want to go, you can alleviate many of the headaches involved with traffic.

Regards,
Len
