I'm trying to find place for rent in the Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach and Conway area. Is there a local classifieds that I can look into? I've looked on Craigslist and haven't found much on there and the apartments I'm finding online are nice but at the top of my budget and I want more options. I'm interested in everything from apartments to mobile homes to rooms available.
Agree with the above! We will be moving to MB and building building a house and will be renting starting sometime in May until its is finished. I have Zillow sending me an email for every new rental listed on Zillow in our target area. Works like a charm....

Wow We are doing the same thing. Moving from Ladson to Hillsborough Conway SC. So we will be looking for a short term lease too. I hope we get a lot of suggestions here.
Though Zillow is a great communicator, be aware that the information the give isn't always accurate; we were stung a time or two because of discrepancies between their info and actual on-site info.
We found our best options by looking through the local newspapers' classified ads. They are posted by the owners so no mistakes in details about the rental.

Do you have any online local newspaper links? Would like to cover all the bases, thanks!!
I'm not good with the computer so I seem to have trouble with "linking" things, but the local newspapers for the areas from Myrtle Beach to Georgetown that I know are:
The Sun News- a daily publication
Coastal Observer- weekly publication
South Strand news- ( combined the old Georgetown Times with another weekly)
Oh....and I didn't see any mention of VRBO previously, and that can be a good resource. Though the name implies its only vacation rentals, some of the owners will rent on long-term basis. I believe that VRBO.com is the website and from there you use a "drop down" menu. Its been a couple of years since I looked and it may have changed, but as stated, I'm computer-literacy challenged and even I figured it out when I needed to, so it can't be too hard to use!
Well good luck.
Do you want to be in MB per se, or can you located elsewhere ?
