We have been down a few times this past year checking different places out. I didnt look at Woodlake Village wondering if it would be a good place?

I am assuming you mean for a retirement location, as I believe it is age-restricted.

Woodlake Village is one place I would strongly consider because of the convenience to shopping and medical care. One can safely drive a golf-cart to the grocery store. The homes are smallish and a bit older, however. Most of them are well-kept and have mature yards.

The OP did not mention a price-range, but the condos off Indian Wells Court are also attractive and conveniently located.

Yes for retirement I see there is different sizes from 2 bedrooms 1 bath to 3 bedrooms 2 baths. I love the idea of being close to stores and hospitals. The hoa is very low I am hoping this community does trips etc. I will do more research on the rules etc. of this community

I have several friends who live there and they love it. We liked the area and a couple of the homes but put off our decision and ultimately to build new.

Just drove through there on Saturday and saw a number of homes with for sale signs.

Angry Woodlake Village -San Antonio

Be happy you did not buy there. I did. Worst case scenario.
Paid cash and leased it. Praying for best outcome.
