Me and my family have been vacationing in myrtle beach for close to 15 years. We historically have been a late August or early September group and for the most part have avoided crowds.

This week because of different schedule conflicts the only week that worked for us is the week before the 4th of July. June 27-July 4th

We don't visit many attractions and if we are going to do something its most likely a show or event that we would book tickets for anyways.

The only thing that concerns me is restaurant lines. We have a 7 person family so even during our trips during later months we are used to waiting for tables. "albeit not that long waits"

Now checking out some favorite dining spots of ours. Almost everyone takes reservations. This seems like the best tool to take advantage and avoid busy spots during the weeks.

My question is do any of you have experience on how early most restaurants down there accept reservations?

Honestly if I could I would plan our week of dining in advance and make all our bookings before we even leave our houses..but im not sure how early I can expect most places to accept reservations.

Anybody have an idea?

Make reservations...or cook in! Most of the chain do "call ahead"..so check that out. Hell, you're on vacation...if you have to wait 15 mins..so what? Go with the flow!

Thanks for the advice. I absolutely dont mind waiting 15 minutes from what Ive heard July with a big party dinner waits can average 45-60 minutes.
